Origami Designs learned of the wonderful project... the brainchild of Peggy Oki. Her idea to build the curtain of 28,000 whales. As I folded the first little whale, I began to think of what an enormous project this effort really meant! I've folded many models of whales, and love this little model. It starts with a square OF COURSE! & is transformed into a whale! I only learned about the project in April, and so only managed to fold 200 whales with my busy schedule. But we are happy to send our small but MIGHTY contribution to this wonderful effort. Kudos to Peggy. I agree with Peggy, EVERY VOICE counts. If you believe in something, do something! Speak up, sign a petition, plant a tree, pick up trash, volunteer, donate, or mentor. EVERY effort makes a difference and makes ours a better world! Barbara, Origami Designs |
