Here is a closeup view of the finishing touches on the hanging strings of cranes.  
Handmade tassels, designer beads, hand selected for each string that include either: glass, crystal, enameled, frosted glass, craved bone, asian design beads, handblown glass beads, & wonderful cloisonne are some of the beads used. 
You select your color, paper, or patterns and the tassel and beads are selected to best inhance the string of 5, 6, or 7 cranes.   The number of cranes is often determined by the patterns or color, but are usually 6 or 7, and the string hangs approximately  3 1/2 feet in length. 
With minimal care & dusting the origami lasts for years!   If  hung in direct sun, papers may fade over time.   Cranes for sunrooms and patios can be ordered with a clear protective spray if desired for a small added cost. 
Frogs - for some, offer the promise of a hidden prince!
For others the frog is "lucky & a symbol of prosperity"
