Below, and to the right are larger photos and views of the little tree decorated for a TV series Christmas season show, 2002.

The tree was artificial and to look a little sad, like a Charlie Brown tree... even tipping over on the top and drooping a bit!     A few of the ornaments were made from paper from the shows prop department to be authentic for placement on set and the little peacock hanging from the top center... well hints at the network!  *S*

Scroll down to  find out more about  the decorations of origami on this little tree.  . .
Ah Ha! another clue.  What is that little paper cup (yes origami cup) hanging on that Christmas tree?  made from medical paper....
Photos were taken from different angles  as there are different items scattered about on the little tree.

At right mid way up on the left you might be able to spot the "shrimp"  (out of medical paper!)    There is a fish in rainbow colors hanging on the right.   Even a little green "fortune teller" on the tip of a branch
There are  a number of little origami cranes on the tree in different colors, different papers and styles.  The ceremonial crane, a flapping crane, crane with accoridan wings... foil cranes in gold and silver..

The crane is the symbol of longevity in the Chinese and Japanese cultures and has become widely known and accepted as a symbol of Peace since WWII, ...and accepted as such by the Japanese peoples.
Look about the photos and you will find on the little tree:
fish, fans, flowers, butterfly, peacocks, swans, modular boxes and triangles, fans,  fortune teller units,  a penquin. a parrot,  and of course that shrimp!
The idea was to keep it colorful and not overfill the little tree.

Little trees like this (artificial or real) can also be decorated by special order with custom origami for other holidays.. such as Halloween, Valentines Day etc.    But more often they are requested for a centerpiece for a holiday dinner or a wedding party!
Origami is located in the Los Angeles, Ca. area.
*  Christmas trees decorated with cranes are unique and very beautiful.    Life size real trees or artificial trees are decorated with cranes, and if you desire decorator ribbon and  added natural  sprigs in corresponding colors such as gold and silver are also added.
