Monrovia Old Town Bench Program.
This is both a dedication and memorial program. One new Old Town Bench is dedicated to Michael "Mike" Justin Turner, and donated by Mom. Many of his friends know that Mike was in his Senior year at Mt. Sierra College, and was awarded his degree - summa cum laude - presented to his Mom, - at the Memorial Service. We (Mom and Wolf) establish this bench, as a special place for anyone to rest, & a special place for Mike's friends to go and be. Sit and enjoy the view looking North. Sit and study, or have a picnic, or just feel the joy of life. I know Mike would approve!
Mike was taken from us on a Friday evening. He was on his way to a dinner with friends at a restaurant. Friday evenings in Monrovia the streets of Old Town are full of families and people. I am sure this bench will be well visited on those nights, as well as give a pleasant place for anyone to rest at any time.
